About Jean Roman

untitled--9Jean Roman is a mother of six, published author, podcaster, YouTuber, organic gardener, organizational guru, and influencer.

A self-professed master gardener with over twenty years experience, she loves to write and teach about her passion and knowledge in organic gardening, the local food movement, food preparation & preservation, decorating, and organization to name just a few things. She is an advocate and champion for female entrepreneurship, and realizes the importance of women supporting women.

Jean spent fifteen years as a Mennonite in the Thumb of Michigan where she co-authored her popular cookbook, Lovingly Seasoned Eats and Treats. Selling over twenty-thousand copies throughout the US & Canada, the book is cherished by many. She is excited to be working on her NEW cookbook based on the recipes she has shared here at her blog.

Roman recently started her Podcast, sister to her blog. In addition to chatting about her beloved topics including gardening, cooking, & organization she shares topics including healthy lifestyles & entrepreneurship. Jean brings experts in these fields and shares a combined knowledge with her listeners.

Recently released is her NEW YouTube channel, another sister to her blog. Jean will be sharing her knowledge and experience in gardening along with cooking recipes from her cookbooks!

Jean’s writings have appeared in The Detroit News- The Good Life, Farmer’s Market Today, Countryside Small Stock and Journal magazines among others.

  1. I am sorry that I will miss your “Drying your Own Herbs” session at the Farmington Hills Nature Center on Saturday. But you just cannot be in two places at once. Will you be offering it again?
