As the weather starts to warm up and the flowers start to bloom we are not the only ones getting excited! Another exciting part about spring is the arrival of hummingbirds is just around the corner. These tiny and colorful birds are a delight to watch as they flit around our yards, sipping nectar from flowers and feeders.

We get them year-round here – we are investing in heated feeders so they can still feed when the temps dip.

We started seeing these little guys in March here in Central Texas so I get my feeder ready early!

I love birds too! We just set out our hummingbird feeders yesterday and I’m waiting close by with my camera!

We do see hummingbirds almost through the year here.. but for some reason, not as much for the past couple of weeks (could the superbloom here be tempting them away from feeders??) .. but it is warming up so hopefully they get back soon
